Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
MAT is an objective type test (with multiple choice answers) conducted four times a year in the months of September, December, February and May.
MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December. The minimum qualifications for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent recognised degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different MI’s / Universities.
There is negative marking for questions attempted wrongly.
Eligibility
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
Final year degree course students can also apply.
Admission Process
Candidates have to register for the MAT. They may apply to 5 (five) institutes (by indicating their preference in the MAT application forms) for no additional cost. AIMA arranges for the candidates scores to be sent to the selected institutes.
A separate form (attached in the bulletin) needs to be submitted along with 50 Rs. per institute if you want to apply to additional institutes.

2. HOW TO APPLY for MAT EXAM :
To obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form by post, send a Demand Draft of Rs.1050/- to AIMA-CMS, drawn in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi alongwith two self-addressed slips/adhesive stickers. Send your request to The Manager-CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003.
OR
Obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form on cash payment of Rs 980/-(Nine Hundred Eighty only) at AIMA counter at Delhi (Tel:- 24653382), select Bank of Baroda (BoB) Branches, AIMA Nodal Centres and other outlets .Bank of Baroda Branches (Click Here), AIMA Nodal Centres and other outlets.
3. IMPORTANT DATES FOR MAT EXAM:
Last date of Availability of MAT Bulletin: 08 April 2009 (Wednesday)
